NOVICE TRIAL VIDEO

Finally after a 12hr upload time for youtube the video is now on line.I hope i managed to catch most people with the camera , some were even still on their bike at the time!

I managed to find a nice clip of Dean Booth riding what must be a prototype of the 2015 Beta as this bike had a reverse gear,if you look close i think you can just see him select it.

I bet Garry (newbike) Jones is on the phone to Beta trying to buy one now. 

NOVICE TRIAL

Ok, so today Pontypool dmmc ran their novice trial at Capel Llwyd farm, Penyrheol. The weather gods must of been trials riders in a previous life because the predicted rain stayed away.
 The results are now up on the site and i will try to get a video put up in the next day or two, untill then here's a few photos.

ALL READY FOR THE TRIAL

The team has been out in action this morning getting everything ready for tomorrows trial.Eight single sub sections have been marked out trying to use the ground to its full potential but also having to take into account the weather.

The gentleman in the black hat was dropped off at the care home
soon after this picture was taken.

The club will still be on the lookout for observers for the trial and pays £10 to those people willing to help or offers riders a free entry if they can supply an observer.

Round 5 news

Round 5 of our Club Championships will take place on Sunday 18th November.  It will be at Glebe Farm (Bowyers) Mynddiswlyn, Blackwood NP11 7BA.  10.30am Start. Close 15mins before.

Also ... 

The Final round will be on Sunday 9th December at Upper Pendre Farm, Llangorse, Brecon. POWYS LD3 7TT again a 10.30am start.

The 4th Round of Pontypool & DMMC Club Championships was held on the 28th October.

Postponed ...

Due to some of the members of our Club being heavily involved in organising the Mitchell trial which is being held on the 15th/16th September we have had to postpone our round 4 Club Championship. 

We will look at available dates an inform you as soon as possible.  We apologies for any inconvenience.

Upcoming Events

Just to let you know there will be a Charity Trial on August 19th at Gwyddon Forest, Abercarn sp A467 in Abercarn.  Starts 10.30am.  Two laps of forest with 20 sections per lap. (Bring plenty of fuel)  The sections will be self observe.  This is a Charity Trial and the scores will not count in our Championship.  A donation will be made to MENCAP

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the MITCHELL which will take place at Bowers Farm, Mynddiswlyn.  The practice will be on Saturday and the round will take place on the 16th Sept.  We need all the volunteers we can muster, so if you would like to offer your services for one if not both days please contact me or Sue Payne.
