CLUB TRIAL VIDEO

I've put together this video from yesterdays event,as you can see most of the sections rode well without being too hard.Looking at it maybe some of the sections could of been a little tougher but if the entry was a bit bigger and this resulted in more water being carried onto the banks it is possible that the sections would of been too tough.

CLUB TRIAL 22-6-14

A small entry on the day but all the riders seemed to enjoy themselves riding at a great venue in the sunshine. The club is still trying to understand why the entry was low but as a club all we can do is put the markers in the ground and round up some observers.
should have a video up in a day or two but untill then here are the results.RESULTS
The club would like to thank Colin Hill, Graham Norris and Dean Bines, all new helpers who gave up their time to help mark out the trial, this was in addition to the normal helpers.

SECTION ROUTE MARKING COLOURS

It has been decided that at the next Pontypool trial which is on the 22nd June, the club is going to revert back to the old rules for marking out a section. Basically this means that the middle route ,  clubman, would be marked out using red and blue colours , Sportsman or the easy route would use a yellow deviation from this and the experts would use a white deviation.
By marking out the sections using this method it puts the club in line with west Wales clubs and also clubs in the western centre , it also makes the sections easier to mark out and understand for a new rider.

CLUB NEWS

Club Secretary

I received a phone call on Sunday from the club secretary Garry Jones and after a short chat Garry told me that with immediate effect he would be standing down as club secretary, before i go any further i would like to thank Garry for all the work he has put into running the trials over the past few months.
In view of the above news the club now finds its self without a club secretary,so if there are any club members that fancy having a go at the job please let us know. I understand that this is a bit of a long shot but without people helping to organise the events, entries, observing or marking out, the trials that we all love to ride our bikes at would just not happen,so if you have never done anything to help your club, except pay your membership, maybe now is the time to start.
To all the riders that already help out, thanks for supporting the club.
